ATTEND A GROUP
The courses are run by experienced and qualified staff in the field of supporting women affected by domestic abuse. They are aimed at any woman who has experienced domestic abuse and left such a relationship but needs support to move forward.
If you want to learn more about the effects of domestic abuse on women and look at ways to move on in your life, the LIFE course will help enable you to do this. Creche facilities available.
If you want to look at the emotional impact of domestic abuse on the family, the Free to be Mum group is designed to work together with you and your child(ren) to do this and more.

It is recommended that the 'LIFE' course is completed before joining 'Free to be Mum', but this is not essential.
Wonderful Me Workshop
Problems of low self esteem and lack of confidence are some of the most frequently experienced problems by women who suffered domestic abuse. They can prevent us from realizing our potential. They can be a primary source of unhappiness in our lives and a significant factor preventing from the fulfilling our own potential.
This workshop will help you make a difference by providing a confidential and supportive environment where you will learn how to utilise a range of tips, tools and techniques as stepping stones for improving your self esteem and confidence so that you are able to live a life that is happier, healthier and where your well being is not compromised.

Designed by Womens Aid, this course aims to help children understand the impact of domestic violence on their lives.
The course increases childrens understanding of feeling safe and explores and promotes behaviours which will contribute to a safe environment.
